Under normal circumstances if you do not have the legal permission to drive it would seem a bit silly to get car insurance. It is a lot similar to buying milk when you happen to be lactose intolerant. However, the thing is you can get car insurance even if you do not have a driving license. These days, there are insurers that are offering car insurance no license needed. In fact, there are actually a number of scenarios where you may need car insurance even if you do not drive that car of even if you do not drive at all.

The first such situation is when you own a vintage car. It may be that you have a car that is worthy of being put in a museum. It could be a 1961 Corvette Stingray – a model of this car appeared in a movie named Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Obviously, you are not going to drive that car now but you could always look for cheap car insurance with no license in order to maintain the car in good enough condition. The beauty of such a car is that you do not need different kinds of coverage such as comprehensive, personal injury, or collision.

However, you would always want to protect that particular car from complete or partial loss. In most cases such policies are sold by ones that are also known as specialty insurers. In case you wish to take it out for a ride every now and then you might look for normal auto coverage as well. In that case however the concept of no license car insurance might not be applicable. The second scenario where you look for such a policy is when you have a business that hires drivers. It could be that you do not drive yourself but you own a business where transport is a major part of operations.

It could be that you are in the business of delivering agricultural produce. In that case you may be operating a number of trucks. You can get extra benefit as well in buying first car insurance.
